Magnificent Mediocrity of the Midwest (Series)

This is an ongoing series of photos that is most near and dear to me. It focuses on the city of Cincinnati as a catalyst for regional identity, allowing me to speak to the larger condition of Midwest Americana. In this body I explore how this seemingly dull city in an often looked over region of the Untied States truly has a lot more to offer than seen at first glance if you can look past the surface. Growing up in Cincinnati has undeniably played a vital role in my identity’s formation, my preferences as both hometown artist or local resident, and is one of my largest influxes of inspiration.
